How Does Our Hiring Process Work?

One of our placement specialists will be assigned to you as soon as you get in touch with BAHS; this recruiter will help you every step of the way. They will first give you our pricing agreement and have a conversation with you to find out more about your family, special requirements, travel plans, financial situation, and other details. A $250 application fee will be collected to begin the search if you choose to proceed. Following the job posting, you will receive small batches of resumes from pre-screened applicants that they believe would be a good fit for the role. In order to properly assess fit, clients can set up brief trial periods and interview as many people as they’d like.

The candidate receives an offer after a client finds the perfect fit; BAHS recruiters can provide competitive remuneration packages and negotiate on behalf of clients as necessary.

The foundation of our client service is discretion and confidentiality. We have a bond and a license from the DCWP (Department for Consumer and Worker Protection).

Our Locations

We serve homes, estates, and businesses across the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, Asia, the Caribbean, and the Middle East from our offices in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, London, and Dubai.

How long, on average, does it take to hire a candidate?
It may take a few weeks to get the ideal fit, or it may take many months. It all relies on the client’s schedule, the requirements of each role, and the number of applicants who can meet those requirements. We communicate openly with our clients about any perceived issues pertaining to pay, timetable, etc.
Employees are paid directly by our clients. At the moment, we don’t manage payroll. However, because GTM Payroll Services specializes in domestic staffing, we suggest them.
The majority of our candidates are referred by BAHS clients as well as by other BAHS candidates. Additionally, we often seek out to nanny communities and have established relationships with a number of professional associations, like the Personal Assistant Association in San Francisco. We place ads on specialized career websites and a range of newspapers, both local and widely read. We are always expanding our database and interviewing new talent.
Although we make every effort to guarantee long-term placements, we have a policy in place in case anything doesn’t work out. For further information, please consult the BAHS fee agreement.
Indeed, we frequently fill temporary positions in a variety of situations, including when a client needs coverage while traveling (for example, a travel nanny, private chef at a vacation home, while filming on location, etc.), when an employee is on personal or medical leave and coverage is required in the interim, and many other special situations. A placement is considered temporary if it lasts for four (4) months or less.
Yes, we check all identification and legal permits before accepting a candidate seeking work into the agency.
